Review: The Devil You Want by Sam Cheever

"Sam Cheever proves she can keep the reader on their toes as we follow the adventures of Astra and Dialle with The Devil You Want"

Astra Q. Phelps knows her life is not easy but lately it seems harder than ever.  Her boyfriend, who happens to be King of the Royal Devils, is annoyed that Astra marked him.  It seems that only men can mark their mates.  Astra is not even sure how she did it and so she cannot undo it.  Secondly, someone is putting a lot of work into killing her.  They get closer and closer to success with each try.  Thirdly, Slayer is back. He insists that Astra hire him.  Considering their sexual chemistry is off the charts, Astra is not sure that is a good idea.  Not to mention that she is sure her boyfriend will not consider it a good idea either.  Finally, she is moving closer and closer to her Settling.  The sexual need she emits is causing problems for those around her.  Astra has a lot to handle and there is about to be more thrown at her.

Sam Cheever never ceases to amaze with the stories she weaves. They continue to be intense, very hot (remember that Royal Devil) and filled with enough twists and turns to keep the reader amazed and intrigued.  Astra never quits.  No matter what is thrown at her, she continues to be her snaky, kick-ass self, handling everything thrown her way.  Dialle has a few surprises up his sleeve.  The ending is electrifying and you know we have not seen the last of this couple.  Beautifully done – The Devil You Want by Sam Cheever.  I know he is the devil I want.
