Even through his years as a Marine, Hunter Black  has lived with only one true regret, never fulfilling his promise fourteen years ago to Zoe Leighton.  Hunter had promised he would come back for her one day, but life took over and his conscious wasn’t sure of what he would find when he did.  Deciding  it was time to face up to the fact that he needed to make sure Zoe had the life she deserved, he finds her working as an erotic dancer .

The years have been hard on Zoe but she is a survivor.  With Hunter back in her life, she is not sure what his expectation for her is.  The attraction is undeniable, but Hunter is worried that his life as a dominant is not what Zoe needs, Zoe is determined to prove him wrong.

Hauntingly dark story of second chances.  Hunter  carries a lot on his shoulders and although he can communicate his sexual demands, he can’t reveal his heart which threatens everything he has with Zoe.  Wonderful read.
