Ally Morgan works as a hotel maid, but her life takes an unexpected turn.  While cleaning a guest’s room, Ally is confronted by two men who accuse her of spying on them.  One of the men grabs Ally and injects her with a drug and she passes out.  When she wakes, a handsome stranger leans over her and Ally bites him.  The next thing she knows, her body begins to transform.  The man tries to calm her, but Ally just wants her life back without the crazy hallucinations.  She cannot possibly be a dog…can she?  After a daring escape, the handsome stranger finds Ally in the woods and rescues her from two men who want to rape and kill her.  Once they are safe, the man informs her that the serum injected into her has turned her into a werewolf.  Can Ally accept her new life?

Kalen Tolbert and his team of werewolves try to capture a mad doctor before he can inject anyone else with his serum.  The doctor plans to create an elite army of werewolves for the government.  Kalen wants to prevent innocent victims like Ally who from changing into something they are unprepared to handle.  After Ally bites Kalen, he feels strangely possessive toward the beautiful woman.  His wolf recognizes her as it’s mate.  Can Kalen keep Ally safe and still stop the doctor from creating an army of werewolves and female breeders to service them?

In the second book of the Hidden Breeds series, Tianna Xander follows a trained team of warriors as they try to stop a madman from turning people into werewolves against their will.  Kalen enjoys his life and feels that he does not need a mate.  Fate, however, puts him in the path of the one woman meant to complete him.  Ally wants Kalen, but she cannot accept that it might be more than just sexual desire.  Ms. Xander gives the reader a story with lots of action combined with a sweet, twisted love story.  As hard as Kalen and Ally try to fight their attraction to each other, circumstances keep thrusting them together.  Will Kalen and Ally finally admit what their wolves already know:  They are mates.
