Review: The Countess by Wayne C. Rogers

"In the third book of Wayne C. Rogers’ tales of the vampire known as the Countess, her past crimes may be catching up with her."

Jonathan Pasco is on a mission.  The Countess killed his brother and she must pay with her life.  Jonathan used to work for the government as an assassin.  It takes him a while to locate her, but he does.  He has a date with the Countess at the Red Lantern BDSM club.  Before she arrives, Jonathan shows a few patrons a picture of his brother and asks if he was ever in the club.  They confirm that he visited the club once and left with the Countess.  No one can remember seeing him after that night.  Jonathan can see fear in their eyes when they speak of the Countess.  Jonathan’s search for his brother’s killer is over.

Before she killed him, Jeffrey Pasco tells her that his brother, a trained assassin, will kill her if she harms him.  The Countess kills him anyway.  She looks forward to crossing swords with Jonathan Pasco.  She has not had a worthy challenger in a long time.  A man contacts her and tells her that he wants to meet her and be her submissive.  The Countess meets him at the Red Lantern, but she already knows he is Jonathan Pasco.  Will the Countess survive her meeting with Jonathan?

In the third book of Wayne C. Rogers tales of the vampire known as the Countess, her past crimes may be catching up with her.  Revenge is in the air, but the Countess is not easy to kill.  Jonathan has what he considers a foolproof plan to eliminate the Countess.  Is Ms. Rogers bringing the Countess’ story to an end with a bang or will she survive her encounter with Jonathan Pasco?
