Review Bloodlust by Faye Robertson

"Faye Robertson tells the story of poor Jasper, the vampire who can no longer live up to his evil past."

Jasper Howard, a vampire, has one weakness:  Nuns.  He loves to drink their holy blood while he gives them a night of passion and relieves them of their virginity.  One night Jasper meets a nun who changes his life forever.  Amabel de Woodville warns Jasper that if he bites her he would regret it forever.  Two hundred years later and he still regrets biting Amabel.  She haunts his dreams and Jasper no longer enjoys being evil.  Something in her blood changes him.  Now he runs an organization that gives money to charities.  Even today if Jasper walks into his office and comes came face-to-face with a group of nuns he gets aroused.  A new organization comes to ask for money and the representative is none other than the woman who haunts his dreams.  He discovers that he still wants Amabel de Woodville.  Will Jasper give in to his lust?

Amabel de Woodville is content to be a Bride of God until she talks to some of the nuns attacked by Jasper.  Instead of anger or shame, the nuns dream of Jasper returning to bite them again.  When Jasper finally selects her for his next conquest, Amabel curses Jasper.  She never thought the curse would work, but she had to put up some kind of resistance.  Jasper laughs, drinks from Amabel but does not ravish her (much to Amabel’s disappointment).  Now she has a second chance to find out what she missed that night.  She is no longer a nun.  In fact, his bite transmitted the vampire virus to her so she is a vampire like him.  She does not drink human blood.  She will only allow herself the blood of animals.  Will Amabel give in to her desire to have Jasper make love to her?

Faye Robertson tells the story of poor Jasper, the vampire who can no longer live up to his evil past.  His preference for nuns is no different from other vampires who want only blonds.  He never outgrows his lust for nuns, but one woman puts a stop to his ability to find pleasure in corrupting them.  Revenge is the first thing Jasper thinks about when he sees Amabel but he really wants is to make love to her.  With a large serving of humor, Jasper and Amabel dance around each other until they can no longer deny their desire for each other.  Ms. Robertson gives the reader a delightful rump in the bedroom that is guaranteed to set off a few fire alarms.  Will Jasper and Amabel admit that they love each other?
