Review: Dammit! by Michele L. Montgomery
With a blizzard setting in, Michael finds himself stranded at the airport where he meets a man who claims to be the stranger who saved his life that night. After hearing his story, the stranger volunteers to help him rescue his cousin. Michael is skeptical. Is this too good to be true? Fast-paced with amusing byplays, Dammit! captures you with the first chapter and does not let go. Michael is filled with eccentricity. His mouth does not have an off button and he seems able to talk himself into and out of just about anything. He had suffered so much. He worked hard to extricate himself from an abusive relationship only to almost die at the hands of his abuser. You cannot help but admire him as he picks himself up and moves on. It took an incredible amount of courage to decide to rescue Wayne but Michael was determined. His stranger does help but he carries more than a few secrets of his own that could have devastating consequences. Dammit! by Michele L. Montgomery is perfect for readers who enjoy some suspense in their stories, suspense with a few twists, as well as some humor, some hot loving and a heart warming ending. Dammit! is captivating, intense and very satisfying. Michel L. Montgomery has penned a winner.
