Review: Dark Elves 5: Discovery by Jet Mykles

"Gorgeous and sexy Dark Elves, heroic deeds, sensual love scenes, and more twists than a pretzel; what more could you want in a fantasy?"

Discovery by Jet MyklesNialdlye is the last of her race, a Red Elf.  Taken as a child from her people and imprisoned by the nefarious White Elf; she needs Kinig but she fears harming him with her sexual appetites.  Forming feelings for the human is a bad idea.  There is no escape from her prison and no future for either her or Kinig.

Kinig is a human male; a human bard brave enough to live among the Raedjour (known as the Dark Elves to humans)He never expected to find love and certainly not love with a being who will out live Kinig by centuries. Now Kinig travels the lands telling tales of the Raedjour; longing for the time when he can return to his master.  Captured for his knowledge of the Dark Elves, Kinig finds himself attracted to a female for the first time.  Can he convince Nialdlye, the female he has come to love, to escape with him and return to his master, Fallil?

Fallil is the Raedjour chosen to be sponsor for Kinig during his time with the Dark Elves.  Being an entertainer and having as much or more knowledge of the Raedjour’s history makes him the logical choice.  If Kinig is comfortable with a little (or a lot) of sex along with the exchange of knowledge, all the better.  Getting attached would be foolish when he can clearly see that Kinig has the wanderlust of a true bard.

Dark Elves 5: Discovery by Jet Mykles is a panty-slicking, sexy, artistic masterpiece sure to leave her existing fans ecstatic and have newly converted fans rushing to purchase the first four books in the series.  Ms. Mykles delivers another decadent treasure chock full of her yummy renderings of the characters.  The story, too, is fabulous.  Ms. Mykles packs this one full of surprises guarantied to put her die-hard fans on cloud nine with excitement.  Of course, it is also packed with some of the hottest love scenes you will ever read.  For all of that, she still keeps the reader focused on Kinig, Nialdlye and Fallil.

Fallil being a Raedjour should say it all about how sexy and edible this entertainer is.  Kinig is so sweet and earnest that I cannot help but be enchanted by him. Nialdlye is mysterious, sensual and tenderhearted enough to make me want to hug her.  All the favorites from previous books make at least brief appearances to delight all Ms. Mykles fans and further enrich her fantastic world.  The villain, Ale’tone, is wonderfully detached from everything but his own agenda and the perfect foil to deepen the reader’s love of the other characters.

Would it be too pushy to wonder if the next book will be published in the next three months or so?  Yes?  Well, how about just giving Ms. Mykles and Loose Id the sad puppy eyes until Dark Elves 6 is on the virtual shelves?

Attention all fanciful readers:  If male on male sexuality has you longing to be run through with a sword; please do us all the great favor of finding another fantasy in which to indulge.
