Review: Under His Skin by Sidney Bristol

"Brian wants to protect her at all costs."

Tattoo artist, Pandora wasn’t sure what she got herself into when she signed up for a tattoo competition.  When her teenage crush, now a famous musician and survivor of a plane crash, is determined to be her subject for the competition she really has a hard time wrapping her head around things.  She decides she wants nothing more than a one night fling to get over this infatuation and nothing more.  Brian, who has had more than his share of hurt (physically and mentally), has other plans.  He has never forgotten her either or her art work.  When someone else moves in with his own intentions, definitely not with Pandy’s best interests at heart, Brian wants to protect her at all costs.

From the intro to each chapter detailing the different aspects of tattooing to the hot steamy sex scenes, this book was a really good read.  There was suspense and drama, but not so much drama that I ever lost focus on the real story and enough background on the other characters that I can’t wait to read more about them.  There was definitely enough steam to make my glasses fog over, but not enough that I felt like it should be over already.  A wonderful start to a series!  Can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for the rest of the girls!
