Review: Double Happiness By Shayla Kersten

""

Double Happiness is a beautiful story of love and acceptance. It proves that love can survive even a family’s disdain. Shayla Kersten’s characters are strong and vibrant. This is a seductive story that is spicy and hot but also tender and romantic. So much of this story can be identified with and it makes the reading even more profound.

Tai and David are just days away from their commitment ceremony when Tai receives news that his mother is coming to town. Tai’s mother and David don’t really get along. She wants a daughter-in-law and David refuses to give up Tai. Ever since their first encounter, they have been together and in love, no meddling from “the Ice Queen” will change that. With things coming to a head, it is about to get very interesting expecially when you throw in the cricket and the red wedding dress.

Shayla Kersten’s story is a delicious blend of humor, sassyness, passion, and love. This is a beautiful story and a highly recommended read. It proves that adversity can be overcome as long as one’s heart is in the right place. This is a four star work that I am highly recommending to lovers of the gay erotic romance.
