Review: Perfect Persuasion by Scarlett Scott

"Intense story, there is a lot of background to Logan and how it causes him to react where Claire is concerned. Claire just wants to shower him with love, but holds back when she is unable to read past Logan’s gruff exterior."

After a brief affair with her boss, Claire decides it is better to move on and hide her pregnancy than tell him and let him into their lives.  Logan quickly figures out Claire is pregnant and that he is the father, always one to get what he wants Logan tries to force Claire to allow  him into  her life.  Claire begins to see a different side to Logan that has her wishing that they could be something more for one another, but Logan’s issues with trust keep thwarting any progress they are making.

Intense story, there is a lot of background to Logan and how it causes him to react where Claire is concerned.  Claire just wants to shower him with love, but holds back when she is unable to read past Logan’s gruff exterior.  I thought this was a wonderfully written story and hope to see more from the characters that were introduced in upcoming books.   A stand alone sequel to Reprieve.
