Review: Ervin’s Dilemma by Stephani Hecht

"Stephani Hecht starts a new series with some new and some old favorites with Ervin’s Dilemma, Wayne County Wolves 1."

Ervin has a dilemma.  Ever since his alpha joined with a new pack and, at the same time, went legit, Ervin has been bored.  His new pack is so disgustingly sweet and there are no gay members.  Ervin is sure he is doomed to live his life without a mate.  Then a chance encounter in a coffee shop gives Ervin hope.  There are several problems though with his mate.  Miles is shy and sexy, which is not a problem, but he is also a rogue and that is a big problem. Rogues are considered dangerous and are, generally, hunted down and killed.  He could get some protection if he would join the pack but he has sworn to never join a pack.

Miles is confused by the feelings Ervin brings out.  He knows that rogues are fair game but he cannot seem to resist the ever so bossy Ervin.  Then his siblings are captured and he knows he cannot get them back alone.  He has no choice but to ask Ervin for his help.  What will he have to do to gain his assistance?  Will it be too much for him to handle?

Miles was devoted to his siblings and willing to do whatever was needed to keep them safe.  Ervin was in many ways opposite to Miles.  A big man and a soldier, Ervin could not believe his feelings when he met the much smaller and less confident Miles.  He knew he wanted him and was willing to go that extra step.  Wayne County Wolves promises to be a wonderful new series, filled with Stephani Hecht’s trademarked gritty realism, suspenseful action and fated true love.  How can you go wrong?  Ervin’s Dilemma is another fantastic tale from the pen of Stephani Hecht.
