Review: Fangs for the Memories by Astrid Cooper

"In the fourth book on the Monsters inK series, Astrid Cooper introduces a very sexy winged lion in Fangs for the Memories."

As Monsters inK’s lawyer, Ray O’Connor has seen many things and kept all of it secret.  But a lion in his living room is a big surprise, especially a lion with wings.  Ray is not sure what to think.  And the lion is not his biggest problem.  He does not want anyone knowing he writes erotic romance.

Tajan is a cop in his cat world and he is there to rescue a brother. His mission changes when he finds the oh so sexy Ray house sitting his brother’s home.   Ray touches him as no one has before.  He recognizes that Ray hides his true nature under a lot of pain.  Taj resolves to assuage that pain and draw forth the true Ray.  He has many tools at his disposal but seduction may be his best one.

This was my first book in this series and it will not be my last.  Taj was from a  different world than Ray.  He did not always understand the various interpretations used by Ray in conversations.  This lead to some of the most amazing scenes and witty interchanges that I have ever read.  Turning the page became a true adventure to see how simple saying could be interpreted by Taj.  He did learn but then he used that knowledge to his advantage.  Ray hid so much beneath the visible facade.  Taj could see right in and was determined to help.  At the same time, Taj helped himself.  An incredible story from the first to the last page,  Fangs for the Memories by Astrid Cooper will have you running for more.
