Review: Sinful Southern Ink by S.J. Drum

"Jed doesn’t know what happened, one day Abigail was his boss the next he can’ get her out of his mind. One taste of Abigail, Jed knows it won’t be enough."

Abigail Hart has had to rebuild her life in every way, including a new name after a horrific childhood left her tainted in her small town.  Moving to Clifton, Tennessee Abigail has started from scratch and now the owner of a tattoo and piercing shop she has made a new life for herself.  Abigail  had not thought of her employee Jed Weston as anything other than a friend and co-worker, but lately she finds herself thinking more about the sexy cowboy and wondering what he would feel like, especially his interesting piercings he has on his body.

Jed doesn’t know what happened, one day Abigail was his boss the next he can’ get her out of his mind. One taste of Abigail, Jed knows it won’t be enough.  When her past comes to haunt her, Jed is by her side, but a nosy reporter and a jealous ex-girlfriend are determined to cause ripples with the woman he loves.

I thought this had a definite southern charm to it, the story grips you with its complex characters and  the unveiling of Abigail’s past.  I loved the tattoo/piercing shop setting, wonderfully described and you felt like you were part of the story.  Would definitely read another book by S.J. Drum in the future.
