Punishable by death, those are the words that ring through Will Shoemaker’s head every time he crafts shoes for the princesses.  Who would have thought the life of a cobbler would have been so dangerous, as if making sure that his shoes never wear out was not enough, his thoughts often veer to the stunningly beautiful Princess Iris who seems to go out of her way to get under his skin.

Iris a mystery of her own, she is not the only thing perplexing Will, his shoes are showing wear and no explanation to the cause.  Will decides to see what the Princesses are up to after they are locked securely in their room one night, only to see a completely different side of life and finds that Iris is in the center of all of his attention.  With an impending forced marriage, Will and Iris begin a dangerous entanglement that could ruin both of them or the beginning of something very special.

The fourth book in the Fairytale Fantasies series.  The combination of talented authors Bonnie Dee and Marie Treanor never fail to come up with a highly creative interpretation of a familiar story.   Will is seductive, he is a perfect match for Iris who tries to control the situation at every turn.  A fantasy filled read.
