Raylin Fabian is a telepath hiding from the powers that want to destroy her kind.  She lives on the Raven and is love with it’s Captain, Sterling Tristam.  She finally let Sterling know of her love before they were captured by his evil brother, Commander Bartholomew Tristam, who commands the forces of the Battalion.  The Battalion conquered her planet, forcing Raylin into hiding.  Raylin finds herself used by Bartholomew Tristam as a tool to settle a score with his brother.  Raylin makes a pact with an unknown alien to get Sterling and another crew member free from the clutches of the Battalion.  Will she ever see the man she loves again?

Xever is a powerful telepath.  He is also a member of an alien race with great power.  Commander Tristam destroys his body, but his mind is still alive and free to interact with Raylin.  Xever needs is a body.  Xever makes a pact with Raylin:  In exchange for the use of Sterling Tristam’s body and a three-way sex romp with Sterling, Raylin and Xever, the alien promises to free them from the Battalion prison.  With some hesitation, Raylin and Sterling agree.  Will Xever be able to free them from the prison or is he using them for sex?

In the second book of the Raven’s Crew series, Ashlynn Monroe shows the reader how far a woman will go for the man she loves.  Raylin just got the courage to let Sterling know that she loves him and now they are both at the mercy of the Battalion’s Commander.  Sterling knew it was only a matter of time before his brother caught up with him and tried to save Raylin by putting her on a safe world.  His plan failed.  Raylin is in danger no matter where she is because of her gifts.  Ms. Monroe takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as Raylin tries to decide how far she is willing to go to save the man she loves.  Will Raylin and Sterling escape from the prison of the Battalion with the help of an alien telepath?
