Review: Forever Wicked 7: Doing the Baba Yaga by Sam Cheever

"Ms. Cheever takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions as Elan and Baba Yaga learn what true love really means."

Baba Yaga is not looking for a quick sexual romp.  She wants true love. After living for countless decades without true love, Baba Yaga is seriously thinking about ending her life.  She decides to try one more time before she gives up hope.  Baba Yaga sets up a trial for a man she thinks might learn to love her.  Will she find what she is looking for?

Elan Gibbs meets Lisbeth and falls in love.  He wants to take the next step, but Lisbeth puts him off.  She has one thing she must do before she can be serious with a man.  She must visit the witch Baba Yaga and then she can give Elan her answer.  Elan, afraid for Lisbeth’s safety, follows her into the woods until she arrives at Baba Yaga’s isolated cabin.  To save the woman he loves from servitude, Elan agrees to take her place and serve the witch.  As time passes, Elan’s traitorous emotions draw him closer to the witch.  He loves Lisbeth, but he also starts to have feelings for Baba Yaga.  His desires torment Elan as he tries to come to terms with his erotic thoughts.  Will he give in to Baba Yaga or will he be true to Lisbeth?

In the seventh book of the multi-author series Forever Wicked, Sam Cheever takes a man on a journey to discover the true meaning of love.  Elan thinks he understands what love is, but as he gets to know Baba Yaga he learns that his emotions are not as black and white as he thought.  He wants both women and his feelings confuse him.  They make him feel guilty.  Baba Yaga wants Elan to love her but she will not force her attentions on him.  Ms. Cheever takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions as Elan and Baba Yaga learn what true love really means.  This is a sweet love story with enough plot twists to keep the reader interested.  Will Baba Yaga ever find the love she seeks?
