Review: Hummus on Rye by Karenna Colcroft

"Real Werewolves Don’t Eat Meat but they do eat Hummus on Rye, as Karenna Colcroft show us in her latest tale in this series."

Now living together, Tobias Rogan, Alpha of the Boston North pack, and his mate, Kyle Slidell, are faced with an unusual problem,  A man has rented the empty apartment and moved in with his six year old son.  Now that child is missing and evidence is stacking up against Tobias.  Kyle is sure he knows who is responsible – Saul.  Kyle and Tobias were instrumental in removing Saul from his position as Alpha in another pack.  He has retained his alpha powers and is using them to conceal himself.  Kyle is the only one who can see him.  He sets out to prove this and in the process breaks pack law and defies the ruler of the Northeast region werewolves to save not only Tobias but also the young human boy and himself.

Hummus on Rye was filled with action and adventure.  Kyle has a very hard time doing what he is supposed to when he knows he can help by doing something different.  In the world of werewolves, Kyle definitely marching to his own drummer.  Tobias does try to keep him in line and safe but cannot always stop him.  Kyle will need to defend himself.

Hummus on Rye is part of Karenna Colcroft’s Real Werewolves Don’t Et Meat series and is still as refreshing as the first story.  Kyle does not follow any of the werewolf rules that Tobias as Alpha must enforce, leading to some unique conflicts.  Looking for something unique, fun, sexy and exciting to read?  Hummus on Rye by Karenna Colcroft will give you all that and more.
