With her grandmother’s words about destiny ringing in her ears, Gwyn Murphy soon finds herself meeting her own head on in the form of a deer in the road. Walking home in the rain isn’t something she planned on or liked doing, but she was about to do just that when Trooper Aiden Loughlin appeared in the road as suddenly as the dear, sirens blaring.

Irishman Aiden Loughlin has incredible chemistry with Gwyn, enough so that there are literal sparks when they touch. It brings to mind the memories of his father mentioning how sparks shot when he met Aiden’s mother as well as warnings to stay away from Murphy women and Aiden feels the brush of destiny along his fingertips. He’s grateful to that deer for putting Gwyn in his path, but now he has to figure out how to convince her of their shared fate: to be together.

Spring Storm is a fast, scorching read that I experienced quick as a flash. The dialogue was delightful and Aiden and Gwyn were a wonderful pair who had great chemistry! I loved the mythology of this story, which enhanced it and made it more than it would’ve been without it. Kelly Maher did a great job! This is definitely a sweet tale if you’re looking for a fast read.
