Review: Forget Me Not by Ericka Scott

"A chilling account of scary possibilities makes Ericka Scott’s Forget Me Not a haunting tale that you won‘t soon forget."

Letitia Davies lost her memory seven years ago in the September 11 tragedy. She was struck by a concrete block and was changed forever when she woke up. Coping with a husband she does not remember and visitations from ghosts who want her to help them, Letitia has no choice but to depend on that husband for guidance. Now unexpectedly, she has lost that husband to cancer. Feeling lost and bewildered, she returns to Napa, CA to celebrate her birthday and make plans for her future in the place where Aaron had taken her after the bombing. She returns there in the hopes that a familiar place would jog her memory and provide comfort. Instead she is confused when she is approached by a man claiming to be Aaron Davies. Not sure what to believe she flees from the confusion and the passion he arouses in her. If he is Aaron Davies than who has she lived with these past seven years? Or is this man after something more sinister? Deciding to investigate a problem presented by a ghost only leads her more into her mysterious past.

Forget Me Not is a scary tale due to the very real possibility that this could happen. Our memories are what make us what we are. Without them we need to build a new life based on trust. That is what Letitia did. Now she finds that all shattered and not sure who or what to believe -except for the ghosts that visit. An excellent tale designed to give you food for thought, don’t miss Ericka Scott’s Forget Me Not. Tense and exciting, it is the perfect entertainment.
