A Desperate Longing by Brenda Williamson

"Two years after Kacy Carwell eluded kidnapping by a serial rapist, she still lives with nightmares and panic attacks on her painstakingly slow path to recovery. When a mysterious new neighbor moves in next door, her tenuous hold on her mental stability spirals out of control. She thinks she sees her attacker everywhere she goes, and no one believes her."

If your in the mood for a well written and highly charged romantic suspense then this is the perfect book. Brenda Williamson brings her flair for well written romance to the forefront with this romantic suspense. The story is intense and the romance is super hot. This is the kind of book that has you reading from beginning to end in one sitting. The twists and turns will have you guessing until the very end.

Kacy is living in her own personal nightmare. Two years after a viscious attack she is still have nightmares and panic attacks. When a new neighbor moves in next door, she isn’t sure whether to be scared or not. Gulliver makes it his mission to get to know Kacy and help her with her fears. What she doesn’t know about him though, will end up causing them both problems and allow her attacker to get another chance at her.

With all of the twists and turns in this novel, it is truly amazing how Gulliver and Kacy’s relationship develops. The romance is genuine from the very beginning and makes you a part of the story. This is a wonderful novel by Ms. Williamson and it will make you want to read more of her. I look forward to whatever she has for us next.
