Denton Prescott is a former hero and former gargoyle imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. Seeing Maria on the island is his greatest fantasy-come-true especially after they get together. She believes in his innocence; but what can she do about it? Fae’s Gargoyle is like a smooth, rich square of silky chocolate; deeply satisfying, incredibly decadent and completely delicious. This one is sure to have existing fans whooping in joy and sure to create new fans in just a few pages. Ms. Painter is proving to be quite the force in erotic romance writing. Her love scenes are decidedly yummy and definitely hot. Her heroes, like Denton, are sizzlingly sexy, deliciously sweet and completely enchanting. Maria is sassy, determined and spunky; exactly the kind of heroine I love to imagine being. Though a brief blip across the radar of the story; the villainess is definitely dastardly enough to be held in disdain by all. Having the heroine doing the rescuing is nice little twist to the classic “in distress” stories and a fabulous premise upon which to build a series. Well, done Ms. Painter. Note: Those of you who find anal play a little beyond your limits may wish to pass by this particular treat and find something a little less adventuresome to consume.

Maria Jennings is a faerie deeply in love with the heroic gargoyle, Denton Prescott, a sexy male far out of her reach and one not likely to notice her. A brief time spent conversing with the gorgeous male left an impression that will never fade and an ache for the love that will never be returned. So awakening next to him in bed sans clothing and sans any recollection of getting there is understandably a shock. Why would her mentor send her there?
