Photographer Serena Macafee has never recovered from the shocking, violent and futile murder of her sister. Still haunted by the nightmares of a past which refuses to stay buried, Serena suffers from post traumatic stress and thus finds herself unable to form long-lasting relationships with men, opting instead for no strings sex without any emotional connection.

Serena’s latest subject is Kevin Riley, a handsome sculptor whom she’s photographing for a new book.
