Review: Cowboy Up by CJ England
After suffering through an unhappy life of being under the control of a domineering father, Sierra Rawlings may finally be one step closer to reaching one of her dreams in life. If all goes well, the ranch and all involved with it will actually be hers one day. What will be missing is the one man whom she secretly wants in her life, Dalton Grant whose family owns a connecting ranch. Although the two have been friends since childhood, they grew apart when he went to college. When a situation crops up which lets them express their desires for each other, Sierra lets her hesitation of being manipulated by another person drive her away from Dalton, leaving him baffled by her behavior afterwards. When a chance meeting just over three years later has Dalton and Sierra sharing much more than just some choice words, they realize the passion between them never completely died. Since they are both participating in the local rodeo competition, this gives them time to discover more about each other. Dalton is delighted by the opportunity to once again connect with the woman who means much to him, and he is determined to keep her in his life this time. However, there are numerous concerns between them which must be resolved before they can even have any type of relationship, as trust issues and old fears must be faced before they can plan a future together. If a story is created by CJ England, then there will stirring passions and memorable characters. This gifted author continuously delivers on every page of her noteworthy stories, regardless of the genre or premise. Original situations are filled with convincing realism, as each moment seems not only plausible but also is packed with likely emotional reactions. All throughout COWBOY UP, there is never a time when the circumstances surrounding Dalton and Sierra did not seem conceivable. There are joyous times and even stressful incidents, and each one is shown by credibly expressed sentiments. Ms. England has a way of letting the reader experience the emotions of the characters with meticulous accuracy, and the feelings of this couple definitely came through clearly. Whether Dalton and Sierra are struggling with emotional desires or well-kept secrets, these two drew me into their lives as every instant is shown with such profound sincerity. The fiery heat between them is off the scale, and their intimate encounters are fervently sensual yet also tenderly caring. When it comes to stubbornness, there is an overabundance in their natures and this just makes them seem more true-to-life in all ways. Dalton and Sierra will constantly touch your heart by making you want them to finally have some real happiness in their lives. CJ England once again gives readers an affecting love story, where the hero is absolutely fantasy material. COWBOY UP is overflowing with emotions, where unforgettable characters will rope you into their powerful romance.
