Review: Very Much Alive by Dana Marie Bell

""

Very Much Alive is an intricate story with a wonderful mythological twist.  The idea of Gods needing a private eye or that their love lives can be just as complicated as anyone else’s makes this a genuinely invigorating book.  Dana Marie Bell has crafted a story that is unique and rich in mystique and sensuality.  This is a not to be missed story.

Kiran and Logan have been on the run for such a long time that they don’t really remember what it is like not to be.  Oliver Grimm has been after them for a very long time but now they have a way to fight back.  They intend to get help from a very unlikely source, a PI who happens to be Grimm’s step-granddaughter.  Jordan is a great PI and she has her doubts when she first meets the two good looking men.  The longer she spends with them, the more things start to shift.  When her own life is put in danger, Kiran and Logan will make a stand once and for all.  They want Jordan and will do whatever it takes to keep her safe and end the powerful reign of Olver Grimm.

Dana Marie Bell has started a truly amazing series.  The characters are rich in background history and personality.  The sensuality that hums through the pages make this a truly hot read.  This is a four star work that will leave the reader breathless.  I look forward to reading the next story in this amazingly complex and intriguing series.
