Sex With Lex by Carol Lynne

"Kudos to Ms. Lynne for writing this sensually fantastic delight."

Nick Barker is a veterinary student who is given the opportunity to work on a family ranch, that of his college roommate Sam, but what Nick doesn’t expect is to meet a man who awakens his sensual side, a man who refuses to “come out” to his family and friends. Lex Whitefeather knows that he shouldn’t find Nick appealing but he does and what starts out as a summer of learning ends up becoming one of heartbreak and despair. Years have passed and Nick has returned to the ranch and the same feelings. Will this passing bring them the fulfillment they both want? Or will they be left with heartache all over again?

A scintillating story of coming out, Sex With Lex by Carol Lynne blew me away with its’ content and had me salivating for more. I really enjoyed this story because of the way Lex and Nick were finally able to become a ‘couple’. Following these two on their journey through love and commitment was fascinating, especially because Lex knows that what he feels is more than anything he’s ever been felt before but he’s afraid to lose the life he has to gain his true love. And Nick, I loved him, he knew that what he wanted was Lex and he wasn’t going to hide it from everyone else. I also loved how their friends, family and acquaintances accepted their relationship once they did ‘come out’. I could understand Lex’s fears but then I could also understand Nick’s reasoning. If it’s the life you want then go for it and don’t let anyone else stand in your way and that is exactly the story that Ms. Lynne has written. Kudos to Ms. Lynne for writing this sensually fantastic delight.
