Review: Heat of Passion by Elle Kennedy

"Kudos to Ms. Kennedy for one super sexy and risqué book."
Carson Scott used to believe in anonymous sex, that is until he meets a woman who tempts him into wanting more than just one night.  But with her disappearance he’s unable to do anything about it but maybe, just maybe, fate will change that for him.

Holly Lawson has enough on her plate, trying to fulfill her dream career as well as care for her family is making it hard for her to have a life of her own. Spending one lascivious moment with a seriously hot guy takes the edge off her hunger; after all she won’t see him again. But how wrong can she be when weeks later she sees him again, at a wedding she is working. Now that Carson has found his elusive seductress he isn’t about to let her go because he’s discovered that he wants more than just one night but what does Holly want? She’s fighting hard to remain just buddies, ones that share their bodies but not their hearts. However, her resistance is slowly losing ground because she’s discovering that maybe a life with this Navy SEAL could be just the thing to mend her heart.

Heat of Passion by Elle Kennedy is a novella filled with raunchy sexy fun. I loved Carson and Holly; their connection was instantaneous and so hot. Carson was the typical love em’ and leave em’ kind until he found Holly. And Holly was looking for a one-night stand but ends up getting more than she bargained for. Carson and Holly possess a charisma that sear the senses of the reader while delivering a hell of a punch. Kudos to Ms. Kennedy for one super sexy and risqué book that made me loathe to finish it to the end.
