Charlotte Boyett-Compo gives the reader a poignant tale of true love against the background of sexual slavery and extreme violence. The love story between Frankie and Brandy is tearfully beautiful, containing hot sex and every element needed to tug at a reader’s heartstrings. Add into the story a savage plot of retribution that will keep the reader turning the pages of this book and you have a great read! I could not put this book down. At times, I found myself laughing out loud and at others, I was in tears. I hated to see the book end!
