Elara “Lara” Sotherlin, the heir to the dragon throne of Djarera, has finally found her life-mate in Zendar. Zendar was formerly a rebel, determined to bring the dragon kingdom out of the past into a new era. Lara’s love for Zendar, however, it is not enough for the other dragon lords. Rand away. When Zendar decides to leave Djarera to prevent war between the dragon lords, Derrek decides to go with him into exile. What they discover will change the lives of all dragons forever.

Sierra Dafoe ends the story of Lara Sotherlin with this tale of love lost and the lengths the dragon’s heir is willing to go to reclaim it. As heir to the throne of Djarera, Lara has responsibilities to her people. When the lords of Djarera turn against her life-mate, Zendar, she is willing to give up everything to be with him. With Rand at her side, Lara tries to reunite with the only man who can complete her. Rand is also determined to find Zendar and Derrek. He must prove to Derrek that their love is real. I am sorry to see this series end. I hope Ms. Dafoe will visit this universe again. I want to know what happens to Lara and Zendar, but I am also curious to find out more about Rand and Derrek!
