Julie Simmons has worked with police departments on solving major crimes. She has left that life behind until private investigator, Vince Marcelli, asks for her help in solving a kidnapping. She has long been attracted to ex-cop Vince, but Vince lives by his own code of conduct. He works the hours he wants to and is his own boss at all times. When he takes on his first kidnapping case, he has a need for Julie’s expertise. What was to be a simple case soon turns into a dangerous undertaking for the pair with a multitude of twists and turns, many leading to frustrating dead ends.

An edgy mystery from the beginning, Invisible Evidence by Kelly Wallace combines suspense and erotic romance into a spell-binding story that kept this reader turning pages to find out “who done it”. Vince is a real man’s-man; an alpha male to a tee. He is domineering, resourceful, passionate and caring underneath the gruff exterior. Julie is a fragile woman in some respects due to her “gift” which turns out to be a curse sometimes. She is warm and passionate, compassionate and empathetic. An admirable woman who made the best of her situation, she does not let life get her down. Her genuine caring for Vince is a palpable thing, coming out in the intense love scenes shared by the couple. For a compelling love story with a strong dose of suspense, you can’t go wrong with Invisible Evidence. If you love great erotic love stories, you will want to pick up this one; it is a fine way to spend the day.
