Review: History Lessons by Jennifer Mueller

"A reader’s delight."

When Ayda Rogers is given the opportunity to fulfill her dream research job she doesn’t expect to discover a history rich in detail of the castle’s previous occupants and their lusty adventures. As she uncovers the castle secrets she also discovers historical treasures long thought lost that take her on an adventure of her own. Now the past is making itself felt in the present because her relationship with the future Duke, Hunter Sinclair, is just starting to heat up. But will she choose her career or the man she is falling in love with? And will history play a vital part in their future?

History Lessons by Jennifer Mueller is a reader’s delight. This author not only tells a wonderful story full of intrigue but also of a history packed with lusty anecdotes of its previous inhabitants. I loved this story; it reached out and attracted me from the get go, so much so that I had trouble trying to concentrate on anything else. I didn’t know what to expect from this book and what it gave me was so rich in detail that I had a fabulous time perusing its pages. The characters were all varied and enchanting but the main focus was on Ayda Rogers and Hunter Sinclair. These two heated up the pages and forced that heat to burn throughout the book. Ayda never expected to find her destiny or the love of her life but once Hunter focused on her he wouldn’t let her get away. Ms. Mueller is a fantastic author who takes the reader on a journey through the past of a clan of people who were loyal to those they loved and fell in love with, while also giving the reader an insight into their passionate lives. Kudos to Ms. Mueller for such an enthralling adventure.
