Chicken Ranch: Hunger is a very unique story that will touch the heart and bring the heat.  The characters are engaging and sexy in their own way with a sizzle to their relationship that can’t be ignored.  This is not your average love story and Chicken Ranch is not your average place.  Amanda Young’s newest series is definitely full of surprises and second chances.

Declan has been tossed out of his home and left to fend for himself.  With nowhere else to go, he heads to a place called Chicken Ranch.  Chicken Ranch is a brothel that is for women and gay men.  Although he has never actually been intimate with anyone he is sure he can get by and figure it out along the way.  Falling in love with a client is definitely not in Declan’s plans but Killian finds a way past his defenses.  Killian is a kind man who can see past what Declan does for a living to the person he really is.  What Declan isn’t counting on is Killian’s friendship with a regular client of Chicken Ranch and the problems it will cause them.

Amanda Young is a truly brilliant author.  Her stories are filled with characters with flaws that make them all the more real and empathetic.  Hunger is an emotionally charged novel that will definitely leave the reader wanting more.  This was a must read novel in a brand new series and I can not wait to read the next Chicken Ranch books.
