Review: Teacher’s Pet by Wynter O’Reilly

"Ian is surprised to find that his son’s new teacher is a Taylor, the one that got away."

Taylor McBain is excited to be teaching first graders after an unfortunate accident put their regular teacher out of commission. Caught off guard, she is given an invitation to join Randy, her student, and his father Ian for home cooked dinner. Taylor is a bit reluctant knowing Ian would not have sent the invitation if he had realized inviting Taylor would bring back feelings from the past.

Taylor had left home to go off to get her college degree, leaving Ian back home. With a chance to clear the air and start fresh, Ian and Taylor reminisce about what went wrong and where this new opportunity could lead. Refreshing story about a second chance at love written beautifully by Wynter O’Reilly.
