Authors, add your free read. Review: Sex Drive by Susan Lyons
Although her youngest sister suddenly wants to get married in two weeks, Theresa Fallon intends to make her always dreamed of wedding come true, even with the shortage of preparation time. Theresa teaches at a university in Sydney, and she believes her academic skills will help in planning a successful ceremony along with some assistance from her other two sisters. Right before boarding the plane taking her part of the way to Vancouver, B.C., she decides to pick up several magazines about weddings in order to get some current ideas. In the store, there are many books by a popular Australian fiction writer and her criticizing comments about the work catches the attention of a male customer. When she gets on the plane, Theresa is shocked to discover she will be sitting next to the man from the store. What she does not know is her seatmate is actually Damien Black, the author of the book she passed judgment on. With his thriller novels selling extremely well in his own country, Damien is looking forward to his upcoming book tour in Canada and the U.S. When he discovers the opinionated yet fascinating woman he met briefly will be right next to him for the long flight, he very much wants to learn more about Theresa and plans to get her talking to him instead of doing any brought along work. What follows is some delightful sexual banter, where Theresa realizes Damien makes her feel feminine, not scholarly like she does around other men. After indulging in several suggestive escapades, Theresa likes how desired she feels because of Damien and takes him up on an offer to spend a little extra time in Hawaii before flying on to Vancouver, where more than the island temperature will be sizzling as they turn fantasies into reality. Emotions and passions are perfectly blended by Susan Lyons to create exceedingly rewarding erotic novels. This talented author has her own special brand of wit, heartfelt sentiments and intense desires in every story, and her skill is very apparent throughout SEX DRIVE. Words depicting scenes vividly express any aspect seen and felt by the characters, and numerous descriptions are especially colorful when portraying details in Hawaii. There are times in this story when a moment is only focused on the inner and sometimes unspoken feelings of Damien and Theresa, while others center on circumstances where they only convey their enthusiastically fervent yearnings. The points of view of these two are capably told with much insight, letting the reader know exactly what they are thinking during each situation, especially times of self-discovery. Though there may be an abundance of fiery sex scenes in the story, the emotional impact is equally satisfying. Speaking of those intimately sensual instances, the heat between Damien and Theresa is repeatedly combustible, and this definitely leads to countless wickedly steamy moments. The Wild Ride to Love series begins with a captivating story, making me eager to know what occurs in the lives of the other sisters. Sexual attraction may have been the fuel which started the relationship in SEX DRIVE, but Susan Lyons turns their passionate desires into a wildly romantic and fun adventure.
