Sheriff Cordero Tate arrives at the Tyler Spread ranch to speak to the father of a bank robber, instead he finds Starlight Tyler all grown up and in men’s breeches  instead of a dress.  Sheriff Tate is surprised by the feisty spitfire who had left town four years ago to citify herself in her mothers care, now she is determined to stay at the ranch herself despite the hurdles that are in her path.

As the story unfolds you find that Star will pull every punch to secure a proper marriage with  Cord.  Cord is unwilling to give in to Stars marital demands as he does not want  to lose her the way he had lost his first wife.  Both find ways of giving each other pleasure and both  struggle to take it to the next level, until a sudden twist in the story pulls you into another direction.

A surprising tale that has more twists than a corkscrew.  Seducing the Sheriff is sizzling hot an exciting tale that is a quick paced page turner. I enjoyed Seducing the Sheriff by Marie Nicole Ryan, thought it was well paced western and engaging as a reader.
