Felicia and Drake are vampires and have been together for nearly nine hundred years. But the happy times now seem to be a distant memory as Drake spends more time at the office and Felicia spends more time shopping away her loneliness. When they first met, Drake was the man who rescued Felicia from a bad marriage to a rogue vampire. The question now is, are Drake and Felicia willing to rescue their love and marriage?

Make Love, Not Money touched me on so many levels. Felicia and Drake are a fiery, passionate couple and each one knows how to push the other’s buttons. Ms. Hill did a great job of making me empathetic to both characters, which was a 180 for me because from the title alone I just knew Drake was going to be a self-centered jerk. Well, he had his moments, but so did Felicia. However, some of their best moments were when they were “doing the do.” Even when they were fighting, I was rooting for them because you could feel the underlying love they still felt for each other after all this time. Make Love, Not Money will be one story that I read over and over again.
