Aedan is a warrior prince of past Ireland, he and his brother are cursed to turn into cats forever if they touch a woman. Cardea is a vampire in human form. From the moment they meet, the attraction grows between them. Despite this, Aedan has a destiny to fulfill as the future warrior king of the tribes of Ireland.

This was a remarkable book to read. It has all the earmarks of an enduring romance: suspense, danger, misunderstandings, true love and great sex. At the same time, it also has the elements of a wonderful fantasy story. The author’s detailed descriptions in the book brings you into the land she’s created, a fascinating escape from the day to day drudgery of our lives. The only downside to this extraordinary story was that at times it crawled slowly along. All in all, I’m looking forward to the next book of this wonderful trilogy.
