Review: The Misfits by Barbara Elsborg
When three misfits with very different backgrounds find each other, love can bloom in a most peculiar way. Holly is a faerie and it is not easy for her. Her magic never cooperates and neither do her wings. A royal fae wants to marry her and that is the last thing she wants to happen. For Holly the mortal world is so much more appealing. Dominic is a vampire and it sucks but not in a good way. After the horrible loss of his brother he is an outcast from his people. Jay is a werewolf with a bad sense of smell and even worse tracking ability. When he is attacked by his own brother it is Dominic who comes to his rescue. With the two men already committed to each other they know the only thing left is to find a woman to complete them. Holly seems to fit the bill but there are other forces at work, determined to ruin everything that could be. If they want to survive to spend the rest of their lives together then they will have to learn to trust in each other and fight for their very lives. Barbara Elsborg has woven a story that will leave the reader breathless. The Misfits will have you wanting more. With an ending like this, there is no way that the story is over and I am eagerly anticipating more adventures with Holly, Jay and Dominic. The Misfits is definitely a must read novel, that will leave you desperate for more.

No one mixes dark and humorous elements with the flair that Barbara Elsborg does. The Misfits is another “must read” in the list of wonderful novels from this exceptional author.
