Marianne Travis has agreed to go after a small statuette which has healing powers. Her brother is terminally ill and she wants the statue to cure him. In addition, the money The Collector will give her should cover the staggering medical bills. Arriving for her instructions, she finds that a condition of her contract is that she accepts Nicholas Trent as her partner. Almost a deal breaker, she reluctantly accepts. Seven years ago, Marianne and Nicholas had been engaged and he had disappeared without a trace. Together and in close quarters, Marianne finds she is not over Nicholas nor has Nicolas gotten over her. Why then did he leave her? Can they reignite that flame they once had?

Marianne is a woman easy to admire. She is handling things that many of us would never have to handle. Nicholas had his reason for disappearing but is not sure he can reveal them to Marianne nor that she will believe him. The flame is still there for Nicholas and Marianne and it is up to them overcome their past and accept each other as they are now.

The Collector Series just keep getting better. Each story unique and exciting, Love Cure is an excellent addition with its high level of sensuality and romance. Kai Anderson and Love Cure both earn an A+.
