Samantha Kane has a gift for telling emotionally charged stories with passion and sensuality. Her characters are in depth and well developed, and as a reader, an emotional connection is easily made. At Love’s Command is a must read novel. It doesn’t matter if historical romances are not your thing, because this is one story that will change your mind. This well crafted story makes you want to read more.

Sophia Middleton has been waiting twelve years for Ian Witherspoon to return from war and marry her. She has been preyed upon by her vicious father and older brother, and Sophie longs for Ian to rescue her. Ian is looking for a connection with his intended bride, already in love with his partner Derek, he knows they need a woman to complete them, and he is hoping that Sophie is the one. In the face of these challenges, Sophie, Derek, and Ian are going to have to learn to not only live together peacefully and in harmony but they will also have to deal with out side forces threatening their budding happiness.

Samantha Kane is an absolute marvel to read. Her Brothers in Arms series is not to be missed. The men are passionate and sensual and the women are strong. The obstacles that the characters overcome, make the novels that much stronger and more amazing. Samantha Kane is definitely a literary genius with this series.
