The Collector 7: This Time Forever by Lucynda Storey

"This Time Forever is the 7th Collector book and what a gem Lucynda Storey has contributed to this series."

Skylar Creighton has just received bad news – she has 4th stage cancer and very little time left. Returning to her bookstore, Skylar resolves to make some decision about the quality of what time she has left. Before she finishes packing her backpack, William, a homeless man, runs into her store, attacked and badly injured. Calling 911, she turns around to find the attacker there and demanding a stone. William thrusts the stone into Skylar’s hands, telling her to not let him have it. Skylar feels a whirling sensation and is surprised to find herself transported from her store to a pirate ship. This is not just any pirate ship, it is the ship of Captain Rand Edward Jamison, whose diary she has read over and over. Rand is shocked to find a woman dressed strangely in his cabin. She also looks and sounds just like his deceased wife, Emma. Emma promised she would return. But is this her or is it a trick by Owain Cutler, his half brother who is trying to usurp his inheritance? One thing is certain – danger is following Rand and Skylar and to save her he may need to give her up, again. Is there any hope? Can The Collector help this pair?

Rand was understandably surprised and suspicious to find this strangely dressed, plain talking women in his cabin. He was smart enough and open enough to realize that this woman was for him. Skylar knew she was dying and was devastated that she finally met the man of her dreams. Trust is an important element in This Time Forever. Lucynda Storey teaches us that with trust and love anything is possible. This Time Forever will leave a lasting impression of the power of love, trust and forever. An excellent edition to The Collector series, you will not disappointed in This Time Forever. Kudos to Lucynda Storey!
