Review: In Hot Pursuit by Kate McMurray

"In Hot Pursuit, Kate McMurray takes us on one exciting ride, while at the same time alerting us to the reasons why everyone needs legal marriage rights."

Noah Tobin is not sure he will ever recover from the loss of his lover who died when he was shot with a bullet meant for Noah. Noah has buried himself in his work to the point where his boss insists he take a vacation. Seeing no way out of it, he takes off for Florida where he meets an intriguing man in a chance encounter at a bar. When he learns the man disappeared shortly after that encounter, Noah cannot resist taking part in the investigation. This man, who turns out to be Harrison Knowles, a wealthy restaurant owner, has touched Noah in a way no one has for 18 months. Now, he is in a hot pursuit that won’t end until Noah has discovered all.

Kate Mc Murray put so many layers In Hot Pursuit that you really have more than one story. Noah was devastated when his long time lover was fatally shot but that devastation was compounded when he found himself excluded. Some 18 months later, Noah is existing but not living until forced to take that vacation. It is his encounter with Harry that leads back to life. The two are opposites in many ways but just what each of them needs, for Harry is floating as well.

Emotionally charged and action packed, In Hot Pursuit by Kate McMurray will work its way into your heart and soul. If you love MM romance, you will not be disappointed with In Hot Pursuit by Kate McMurray, an excellent read.
