The Collector 3: Cauldron by A.J. Matthews

"Full of myth, hot sex and danger, Cauldron, the third Collector story, by AJ Matthews will pique your interest and keep you reading as you travel along on the quest to find a very special cauldron."

Kate Susadi is called to The Collector’s home along with Matt O’Brien. He feels these are the two who can find the cauldron of fire, the latest artifact he has tracked down. At odds right from the start, Kate feels Matt is a snob while Matt feels Kate is not up to his Harvard educated standards. He also feels that he can handle the job alone and does not need Kate along. He is the one, after all, who found the diary of Kate’s grandfather and he should be the one to continue the search. The Collector asserts that the two go together or not at all. Arriving in Ireland, Matt soon realizes that he does need Kate’s unique abilities or the cauldron will be lost. As they embark on the quest, Matt and Kate will need to rely on each other to not only get the cauldron but also to survive and return to their own world.

Kate and Matt argued right from the start. As they went after the cauldron though, the two realized that they needed each other and had to work together. That need gradually become more than just for survival. The blossoming love is what allowed them to be successful. Cauldron shows that love can truly conquer all. The ending had a surprise twist to it, adding to the right touch of humor that AJ Matthews injected into this tale. The Collector 3: Cauldron is an excellent contribution to The Collector series.
