A truly unique book, with plenty of twists and turns I was held captive by words that ensnared me. At times, I became confused as I read this book but things were soon cleared up as I went further in the storyline. I was never bored; reading this novel there is no such thing. The villain is a villains’ villain, he makes the story all the better for his evilness. He gives the story just the right creepiness without taking over the story. The plot was truly brilliant, the characters refreshing and very easy to relate to. I must tell readers that there is a very shocking surprise at the end of this book, one I never saw coming! This was my first read my Ms. Dane and it will not be my last, I plan to read many, many more of her books. She kept me going from beginning to the end; I can’t say it enough, I was truly astonished by this shockingly sexy, thrilling, and mysterious book. Kudos! Ms. Dane, take a bow you have done wonderfully well in this tale.
