Veterinarian, and alpha of his pack, Alex Wolfe is not willing to settle; he knows his true mate is out there. With help, he finds her, albeit tied to a tree in the middle of the forest. One sniff, one taste – that’s all he needs to know – Kiesha Morgan is his. But nobody told her, and for a business woman who prides herself on being independent and in control, being told she is Alex’s mate, with no input from her, does not sit well with Kiesha. Now, it doesn’t hurt that he’s drop-dead gorgeous and can lay down the loving like no one’s business, but a whole lot more needs to be done before this luscious lady agrees to anything.

True Mates grabs your attention in the opening scene and doesn’t let go. Kiesha and Alex make a great couple and made a wonderfully lasting impression on me. Alex is an alpha male, no doubt about it, but he desires to not only protect Kiesha, but to love her as well and that means giving her peace of mind. Kiesha is used to being in control, but seeing how Alex honors hers allows her to open up to him and trust him. In spite of, or maybe even because of the hurdles they encounter, they turn towards each other instead of away from. The lust-o-meter is off the chart with these two and I have to admit of being jealous at times. I believe True Mates is a first endeavor by Ms. Wynn (no relation); I hope it won’t be her last.
