Shifting Passions is definitely hot. The sensuality that exudes from the pages of this story are not only well written and portrayed but they contribute to the overall effect of what the reader is experiencing. There is so much to this novella that it is hard to acurately describe it without shortchanging it. This is definitely a gifted author because from the very beginning the story captures not only the readers attention but also the imagination. This is definitely a story worth reading.

Nathan and Lena are half-blooded shifters and best friends. Three years ago their friendship progressed until they became lovers but now they are back to being best friends. Nathans current lover Armand is also a shifter and he is just as in love with Lena as Nathan is. Together they have formed a friendship that skirts the edges of their mutual attraction. But one hot summer, the passion and longing is going to bring them together once and for all. This time it is not just a fling.

Xakara has definitely shown that she is worthy of high praise with this excellent literary contribution. This story definitely deserves a follow-up because there was just so much passion and excitement in the pages of this novella that it left me wanting more. I look forward to reading whatever else Xakara has planned for us.
