Review: Snowbound: Her Feral Mates by Ruth D. Kerce

"Mystically intriguing and sizzling with fiery passions, SNOWBOUND: HER FREAL MATES cleverly intertwines wonder with reality."

This Snowbound Hot Flashes tale definitely delivers as the snow is not the only thing holding the heroine captive. Ruth D. Kerce swiftly increases the sensual cravings of all involved, where they find themselves dominated by emotions and yearnings.

Her career with a wilderness magazine has Janie Merlot presently being in Minnesota taking photos of its national park. When a late evening shoot leads to her being stranded in the forest with snow coming down, the only living thing Janie sees in the area is two wolves. Unfortunately, they will be of no help in getting her SUV started, but she does believe someone is living nearby when she spies a light in the distance. Carefully making her way through the snow, she finds no one at home in the tiny cabin.

While warming herself by the fire which she made in the hearth, two wolves suddenly make their way into the cabin. Janie notices the outwardly friendly pair of animals have tags hooked on the chains around their necks, proclaiming their names are Cavan and Dall. With all the problems she has encountered recently, she decides to lie down and rest as there is nothing more she can do this night. When something awakens her later, she is shocked to find two men in the cabin instead of the wolves. Janie wonders whether she is just dreaming or if this fantasy could possibly be real.

The genuine reactions of the characters created by Ruth D. Kerce bring each of them to life with realism, as this talented author fills her stories with heated passionate moments where sincere emotions come into play. Her contribution to the Snowbound Hot Flashes series is enthralling on every page, as the problems faced by Janie quickly turn into a magically sensual night packed with fantasies. Shortly after the two wolves make an appearance, their questionable presence is soon forgotten in the haze of mounting passions. Blazingly hot at times, this story is a fantasy come true for me, as werewolf stories are a favorite. With three very likable characters, this story is profoundly appealing from start to finish. SNOWBOUND: HER FERAL MATES captivates with its fascinating supernatural storyline and the potently depicted sensuality.
