Review: SheWolf by Teresa D’Amario

"Using tense excitement and passionate loving, Teresa D'Amario has penned a tale of surprises, love and acceptance with SheWolf."

Anna Calloway is out one evening with her assistant at a bar when she decides she needs to escape for some fresh air. Outside she is accosted by two individuals, Ryland and Joshua, who claim to be werewolves and that she is to be a werewolf’s mate. Kieran Hunt arrives to prevent them from forcibly taking her, only to realize that she is his True Mate. Telling her she is part wolven and convincing her of that is proving to be difficult. Anna has always had an affinity for animals and sensitive smell and eyesight. Maybe this explains it. Now Anna must decide if Kieran is her future. Becoming involved with Kieran and acknowledging her heritage leads Anna into danger from many sources. Kieran wants to keep her safe but his past ghosts must be faced before he can do that. Having once been an Alpha, he took a step down to be the protector of his race. Now he must deal with the reasons for that change.

Kieran is a truly troubled hero. Never having fully dealt with the tragedy in his past. He was living a half life, a half life he almost lost because he could not face his past. Anna was very strong, his perfect mate if only he would let her. Filled with a few surprises, SheWolf will keep you on your toes as you turn the pages to see what will happen next. Teresa D’Amario has penned an entertaining, intriguing novel with SheWolf. Hopefully this is the start of a new series of shifters for us to read and relish.
