Review: Chasing Phoenix by Christine D’Abo

"A quickie and definitely not sweet by any means."

Abbey has a hidden side to her life, one that allows her to explore her sensual nature, that of the elusive Lady Phoenix. A storyteller who gives her clients what they want, a fantasy of their creation and when Michael turns up for one of her performances she can’t help but give him and herself what they fantasize about. Now Michael wants to know who Lady Phoenix is and he’s not stopping until he has his answers. But when Michael learns the truth will he want what he discovers? Or will he be disappointed with reality?

A tale of sensuality and exploring the imagination, Chasing Phoenix by Christine D’Abo is also about bringing to life a fantasy. The sexy antics between Michael and Abbey left me with goose bumps while also hungering for more. I loved Abbey because she was able to discover what she wanted in a relationship and I also enjoyed Michael because he was able to look past the fantasy to find a woman who could give him what he wanted and also bring to life her hidden personalities. This book is a quickie and definitely not sweet by any means, it’s erotic and raunchy but so delicious and one I’m glad to have read.
