Zarius El Kyr is a very strong, prominent warrior from the planet Reja, where each male has only one life mate. The seer, Ventari, has found Zar’s and Darvin’s life mates on the planet earth. The two set out to find and win their life mates. Zar quickly finds Star Elliot and sets out to seduce and marry her. He does not count on the stubbornness and her ability to resist his commands.

Star Elliot is not too happy – she lost a promotion to someone else and cannot seem to find a boyfriend that interests her. She is beginning to feel as if there is no one who could light her fire, until she sees a man in the crowd, a man that makes her heat level rise to searing. She finds him the next day and cannot seem to resist him. It would not be a problem resisting this bossy, arrogant and pushy man except that he is also very sexy and desirable and the only man to ever stir her own desires.

Zarius was so much fun to read. New to the English language and coming a different culture, Zar could not seem to say or do things correctly for his delightful Earth-raised mate. Wrong phrases, and misunderstandings were sprinkled throughout the book to the delight of the reader, ensure each page is turned to see what will happen next. Lots of heat and humor, a hefty dose of danger and true love makes Zarius a brilliant novel. We will all be waiting impatiently for Darvin’s tale. L.A. Day shows once again her remarkable talent as a writer with Zarius.
