Fellow Olympian Carly Flannigan has always had a huge crush on Brick, a Hockey player for the Orlando Vipers.  When a photo shoot puts them up close and personal, Carly has to reel herself in when he shows an interest in her.  Carly doesn’t want to be another notch on the belt for Brick  but when she begins to second guess herself, trouble ensues.  Will Brick be the man to catch her?

Brick is an interesting character, he is gruff on the outside and very confident in his pursuit of Carly.  The story is written from Carly’s perspective and you totally understand what she is hoping will be an everlasting outcome with Brick.  It is endearing to see her vulnerability exposed as she continuously tries to protect herself from getting hurt.
